Heads up, even though this is where our club hangs out make sure you aren't asking for parts (want ad) here....apparently, it's inconsistent with forum rules and will get you locked out of the forums.....

If you want to swap or need parts for your builds or broken replacements, I guess we will have to do it via our Facebook page or on Sundays at the GTGs.

umm, ok...would a dedicated swap/sale thread here in the "coolorado" area be ok? I'm always on the look-out for parts/swaps.
 
I'm not sure, but I got warned for asking for something here...thought I would pass on the information before anyone else got a warning from Captain Power Trip.
 
I love that idea, I just hope the Moderators don't "pigeon hole" us into using the "Classified" section; which is what I see happening.

on a personal note, I dont see any reason someone isn't allowed to ask for parts locally.......just makes sense to allow it.
 
Unfortunately, that's how they have it setup now. It's almost impossible to find local deals on there to buy sell or trade.

You would have to monitor the classifieds 24/7.

That's why I don't use it too often, a lot of times I just use Ebay.

Most likely not. The classifieds is there for that reason and they have rules in place around them.

Best place for local deals is a facebook group or page..
 
Anyone in the club that wants post a sale of trade on our Facebook page let me know. I think I can start another page just for sale/trade deals in the Colorado Springs area. Your right dan. It's just too confusing to use their classified section for local transactions.
 
I wouldn't have a problem with checking out the classifieds I actually have a lot of stuff to offer but the moderators won't even let me into the classified section and I don't understand why.
