colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Tony can't make the wed evening crawl (we were gonna check out a new spot). So......I figured I would just go over to P9 and mess around a bit and blow off some steam. If anyone wants to go, I figure I'll be there around 6 ish.

Snagged this nice little bag of goodies at a yard sale. 106 tennis balls and bag for 15$

On sunday in conjunction with the bbq I plan on setting up about 60 gates. I will make ten gate courses and 2 courses per class. Class 1 2 and 3. If you run them both ways that will be 4 courses per class. Each class will have a moderate and hard course! It should be a great time

I have invited a few families out to get the RCs a try and enjoy some burgers! I am excited to get others hooked!!! I'm gonna let them loose on the courses and let them beat on some rigs!

Dan, what is your verdict on the G6? Need work? Everything hold up? Do tell....DO TELL!!

Great find CY. With the sixty gates the club has, we have enough to cover a 100 gate g6 course this summer. I'll bring all my stuff Sunday as well. You will have plenty of help setting up courses from club members.

The G6 is working pretty darn good with the little tweaks I have do e to it. I just need to get some decent wheels so I can try out the Pitbulls on it.

Well, since I traded the Wrexo for a G6, I guess its time to put in an order! Not sure what tires I want so I think I'm going with the standby 1.9 ripsaws for now!

Who makes a good CVD for the SCX?

Im running 1.9 pro line super swampers (not the xl's) on mine right now, they do work really well. As far as cvd's the Axial ones are decent and not too expensive.

If I get another set of tires, I want to get either the Pitbull growlers, pitbull rockbeast, SS xl or the Baja Claws. Leaning towards the Growlers but they are hard to come by right now.

I picked up the pitbull rock beasts, they are pretty decent looking, wide too.
