colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Test stickers and one tester shirt has shown up from vista print. I like how the logo will look on the shirts. Good side. Only fourteen bucks a shirt. Bad side. They only print on the front. So I'm still searching. Got micro stickers for the rigs. I will give everyone one sticker for free to test out on one of there rigs while supplies last.

I'm down for a few days ... waiting for some stuff to come in ... my 412 is in route from tekin after having warranty work done on it ... finally found a place that had a Jeep JK Rampage Recovery Front Bumper in stock - should be here sometime next week and had to order a seperate controler for my Bulldog 9300XT which should be here Monday.

Regarding the Bulldog 9300xt ... beware, it's one cut above being a POS. Got it in this week and hooked it up and had a hell of a time getting it not to shimmer/vibrate & drift when in neutral. Even after taking off the red locktite on the adjusting screw on the controler and zeroing it out so it stopped; once I activated the winch it would go back to vibrating/shimmering in neutral ... to a point that after just bench testing it for only a few minutes the winch would get HOT and eventually it burnt up the motor! I got on the forums only to read this was a common problem with the RC4WD Bulldog 9300xt winches (probably why they include an extra motor with the purchase). The only good fix is to buy another better controler which I did for $25. Sooooo beware, if you are looking at getting the Bulldog 9300xt winch, be prepared to shell out another 25 bones for a controler to run it with.

Lastly, been eyeing a GoPro Hero 3 Black edition ... dying to set the camera in place of the driver and drive the rig in '1st person' with the iPhone app. Have any of you guys with the gopro tried this?

Did you attempt to drive it via the iPhone app in 1st person and if so how was it? I think it would be pretty cool but much more difficult as I wouldn't think your peripherial vision would be near what it is when driving in real life and there would be a lot of lines where I would want to know exactly where my tires where at. With that said, I'm still dying to try it.

The thing with the iphone app is it doesnt render what the gopro sees right away so it lags, i just use it as a viewfinder make sure the gopro is shooting how i want. If you can fit the gopro in your jeep. Otherwise i would mount it to the top of the truck. And fair warning once you put a mount on dont plan on taking the mount off because it is a workout trying to pry one off of a surface.

Found a tshirt company that will do the shirts for a better price. Take a look at the final design. New pocket logo. I think this will be the final founding member tshirts. Only twenty will be printed. After that we will change the pocket logo to something else. They also have hoodies for around 30 bucks if anyone wants to order up one. http://www.ooshirts.com/designapp/sharing/1023218074
