colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

You all seem to scope out some pretty cool crawling spots. Wife and I went for a hike at that Red Rock Canyon and was pretty nice. Too bad the crawler is awaiting funds for a rebuild or could have seen what needs to be upgraded next Have any of you spotted something on the NE side of the Springs? I live in Falcon and would like to find something closer to home. Even Palmer Park is nearly a half hour drive.

I was the first to raise my hand to suggest another high speed run this weekend. I bought a used Slash on ebay Monday, but it still hasn't been shipped and I'm starting do doubt I will have it by the weekend, so if you guys want to plan a different trip, I'll retract my request.

Just heard on the news Palmer park will be closed until Saturday at the earliest. Guess the rains messed up the roads pretty good.

Yea Chas and I went up there yeaterday and every road into the park is blocked off. You can still get up in there but you have to park on side streets and what not.

Let's run the BMX track again this week Got my parts in to fix the sc10 so I can break it again. We have to hit the creek too and see how bad the water jacked it up. Sunday at 10 good with everyone or should we slide it back to noon?

I think we are gonna stick with ten o'clock for the BMX run this week. Looks like we might get more rain Sunday so hopefully we miss it again In the morning and hopefully the creek isn't raging.
