colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Hey guys. I got new rims and tires for the wraith. I was wondering if anyone had just 1 2.2 Pit Bull Rock Beast 2 that maybe they have just laying around. I decided to switch out the Tsl super swampers and beadlocks and now need would like all the tires to match since I got a matching spare rim.

soooo i took my bro who just got a honcho to crawlers paridise today and endded up smoking yet another motor anyone have any suggestions as to why this would happen aside from mip shafts, gmade shocks that were tuned way low, and a dig and winch neather of which are plugged in currently. the stock esc hasnt had any problems other than i cant pull data from runs so any advice?

Still have no car but had to find a way to get some crawling in. :) Did strip out something in the tranny though. Oh well. totally worth it!

Not sure what gear ratio you have but I hear 5.5:1 or deeper with your spur
and pinion is fairly safe for a motor. Bashing you should be able to by with a bit taller

Stock axial motors are junk. Burned everyone I had up in a puff of smoke too. So I broke down and bought a timbuk2 with the brushless motor. Kinda pricey but haven't had an issue with it plus you get so much more control under creep mode.

I abused the stock axial motor in a dingo for a long time, through creek water, dust, sand, etc. i think you should check gear mesh, make sure the dig is installed and functioning properly then see if you should upgrade motor. i have a new axial 27t that was in the wraith before the timbuk2 went in if ya want to try once more. also have a novak rooster crawler esc and a couple 55t motors if anyone needs em.

.

Tour of the springs continues Sunday at 9 at the garden of the gods. This is a beautiful spot Chaz has chosen for this weeks hike. So if you are looking for the trails that you will be less likely to get hassled by the man? You don't want to miss this crawl. Hiking shoes, water and backpack/tool bag is a must. See ya guys there for an awesome day with the gods. :).
