colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Just ordered my winch also:mrgreen: Next payday are new shocks! Any suggestions?

https://www.ckrccrawlers.com/gmade-xd-piggyback-shock-103mm-2-p-4607.html. Check out these shocks bro. They come in different lengths. Or with some higher shock towers the 103 mm will work on the scx10 and a set of 2.2 tires. Already modified the rubicon. Had to throw 15 mm spacers on the axle to widen the stance a bit too. Doesn't flop around on its sides anymore.

I will be visiting the springs from Boston June 21-28. Anything going on while I am in town I could come scope out. Might pack the 2.2P if you guys get me real fired up "thumbsup"

Yeah like Crawler/Madness said Palmer Park is an awesome place to crawl! What Moab is to 1:1 rigs, Palmer Park is that to rc crawlers. It is a wooded area right in the center of town. One central road runs through the park with several off shoots and something like 20 parking areas. All throughout the park are sandstone formations that offer incredible traction so you can pull some insane climbs. Or if you prefer rock gardens there is plenty to satisfy. About the only thing PP lacks is a creek for the scale rigs to play in. One disappointing thing about Colorado Springs is the fact that there is not much in the way of crawler parts at the LHS. So if you have a weak link bring spares. I am always looking for a reason to get out and crawl so if I can get out and show ya the place I will. My 2.2s likely wont keep up but sure be fun trying.

iam super tempted to swap in my vxl kit into my wraith still not to sure tho iam hopping that i win some spooled lockers on ebay. oh does anyone know or have a winch mounting setup for a wraith here in town? i think the big companys over looked this part of the wraith.

The BGR Bumper is pretty sweet. I installed mine tonight and it makes the rig looks sweet. Along with the added KOH cage it just looks nasty.

I'm good with Sunday as well we just need a lot to meet at, anyone know where? It Would be nice to try a new spot. Would garden of the gods be out of the question?

there are some awesome trail runs in the garden, but with summer time, weekend, and the nice weather it'll be a mad house. parking gets crazy, and if the wrong person spots ya, like the park stewards, friends of the garden, etc; there is potential for headaches. The western edge of the park near the entrance to the quarry is all good, but parking is hard for multiple vehicles.

if we did an early mission, i know a spot with parking and a sick off the beaten path area for some fun. we'd have to meet at 8-9 to ensure enough spots if more than a few want to join....
