While waiting on parts for the Mud Truck build and the snow to melt i figured i should start on a Class 3 build.

This build is based on the Trail Gear Zero Chassis W.E. Rock Unlimited Buggy

Specs
Chassis 5.5" tall x 6" wide (SORCCA legal)
13" wheelbase
5.4" tall 2.2 Swampers (Most likely going with C.I. 6 bolt rims & .185 hubs to narrow it up a little)
2.5" under skid

So good!! Cool to see real scale rock crawlers being built these days!

Will be watching for sure! Zero is a cool new buggy!

Awesome! Dang I see a c3 crawler class in the works!

I hate it when someone has better tube work skills than me. LOL

Thanks guys.

You guys are mostly to blame for this project, after reading all of your 2.2 buggy builds i had to have one for myself. :lmao:

I agree "thumbsup"

There's not too many pics of this buggy out there to work with so it may not be a 100% accurate copy.

Now that would be a cool idea.

These asymmetrical chassis are not as easy to build as i thought. I started with the B pillar and based my measurements from there. It's handmade and not perfect but i try to get them as close as possible.

Small update...

Version #3 of the axles truss design, that should work out ok.
