You've got quite the list there. Not sure what your running for a body, but unless its super heavy you probably dont need that much brass.

Im running a Holmes puller 2700 stubby on 2s. It creeps along quite well, and tops out about 6mph, which is plenty for a c1.

unfortunatly by me i cant run brushless in c1 its a brushed only comp locally im prolly gonna grabv a hh motor just not sure wich one yet

and yes it is alot of brass i will probly only use the c hubs and knuckes i just bought everything to have it lol i have a problem doing that ill see how it does with just hubs n knuckles

Nice parts list, that should work. "thumbsup"

That's an odd rule for C1, not sure why a motor type would make any difference. I run both types in various rigs and set them up to be pretty close to each other in performance. Anyway, I have become fond of the 1080 and Brood 35t combo myself. I run that setup in my C1 Venture and love it, nice smooth low end with plenty of wheel speed when needed with a 16t pinion.

"thumbsup" Stock pinion should be 16t. Note: I also run 50-75c 3cell lipos in 1350 to 2200mha range. My C2 and 3 rigs run the smaller 1350 and 1550 packs and my C1 runs the 2200 because I have room in the bed.

Should be a nice build, I'm not a fan of the Ref servos personally but they seem to get a lot of love.

The only thing I found on my Venture that kept me out of C1 is that you need really narrow wheel hexes (3mm? Smaller?) or low offset (or is it high offset, I can never remember which way it goes) rims to get total tire tuck under fenders. Other than that she's pretty well perfectly set up for C1..

I run the narrow Axial hexes and Loops fender flares on my LC body, pretty much have full tire coverage.

So just got some news the brass c hubs and brass knuckles are back ordered till December so the build will be put on hold.I may purchase that killer tf2 on for sale forums so I dont get bored I’ll build that up lol while I wait for parts but then that would b my class 1 or maybe I’ll do trail rig Instead hmm

RPP hobbies show they have the brass C-hubs in stock. They also have the brass diff cover as well. No brass steering knuckles though. These parts are getting hard to find since I’m not sure HPI makes the vehicle any more.

Honestly that seems like a ton of brass for a c1 truck going by your list. I built the SBK and only used the brass weights they included in the kit. I am running the Rc4wd bumpers for the FJ body and it performs great. I know some weight is needed here and there, but with the front mounted motor and metal bumper mine already has a ton of weight forward bias.

As for motor, I am running a Holmes crawlmaster Sport 540 16T with a Hobbywing 1080. Great low end control and plenty of wheel speed if wanted. I know Holmes is out of those motors currently though, but something similar would do great depending on what your looking for in power wise.

thanks and i dont plan on using all the brass i just grabbed it since its usually not available. not sure what i will use as far as bras i will try a few diff options and as far as motor i am going with a hh crawlmaster expert 16t since the sports were sold out

May I ask where you picked up the brass knuckles?

I have searched and searched for both SSD and STRC brass knuckles with no luck. SSD is not producing anymore (I confirmed with them.)
