Chassis for AR60 axles

I have a pretty built Wraith with a cage chassis and I've been thinking about ways to modernize it. I was thinking I could get the internals under a lexan body even if that means buying something like an Axial 10.2 builders kit.


The parts I'm trying to reuse for the most part are my two AR60 axles and the 3 gear transmission. These have been built up with Vanquish parts and robinson racing gears so I would like to use them. Whatever I do will also get my Castle 3800kv crawler combination and if my pro-line powerstroke shocks could be reused that would be a bonus, but not a necessity.


It would be cool to get it all in a capra or rr10 or scx 10.3 but what do you think? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

Thanks Mike. I know what a wroncho is... but is it still worth doing to a scx10.2 or 10.3? I have an OG scx10 scale truck but I could put the AR60s under a newer scx10 and the portals under my OG? Just brainstorming....

My buddy built one, it t was unstoppable in our local group beat all AR60 rigs, ran a castle 2850 and a micro x. Was quite low and could go almost vertical. It was a quite ugly truck.ToyZuki setup on 3s

Hey mate, I built a wroncho truggy thing. Its an absolute monster and makes crawling a bit boring. I have a build thread on here about it, if you wanna check it out.

I have a wraith metal cage thing and tried to cut up an scx10 ii Cherokee body to fit. God that thing was ugly. I probably shouldn't have left the side mirrors on haha! I'll post a picture if I find one.
