I live in lindsborg and when my rig is operational, i try to get up there once a week.
Going to braze up the cage this weekend, that will have it trail ready at least.
Grobe, I think Brian and I both will be taking our own vehicals to Raymond if you need a ride just say the word.
here is my build thread

will be getting 3s2p Lipos, new ESC to take the abuse, stock radio for now, new shocks and tires are down the road too (hope my stock tires hold up, i sipped them and now one rear is split). think i will stick with the stock motors, on the 9.6 nimh packs they run pretty well for what i want to do, i think on 3S they will be perfect. unfortunately i will still be running stock electronics and 9.6 nimh at Raymond, should have it all upgraded when i host the Coronado crawl through.
Could always get a separate one, never hurts to have a few crawlers/scalers....or quite a few rc's, haha. This may get shafty axels next winter, leaving my options open? Radio is fm, 27mhz
