Central Kansas Trail Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here is my build thread

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/redcat-rs10/370918-starting-my-rebuild-rs10xt-bronco.html

will be getting 3s2p Lipos, new ESC to take the abuse, stock radio for now, new shocks and tires are down the road too (hope my stock tires hold up, i sipped them and now one rear is split). think i will stick with the stock motors, on the 9.6 nimh packs they run pretty well for what i want to do, i think on 3S they will be perfect. unfortunately i will still be running stock electronics and 9.6 nimh at Raymond, should have it all upgraded when i host the Coronado crawl through.

I just ordered a couple 3S 4000 MAh lipos to take care of some of the tire speed issues. I need to get some 32 pitch gears, MIP axles and Aluminim knuckles and c-hubs too, but they are going to have to wait until after Raymond. I'll just have to take it easy on the throttle until then.

hey new guy here. the raymond run. need derections

gar: what electronics do ya need?

My rig is done (for now...) I just got a winch ordered and installed, and am now waiting on a heyok controller and MadDogRC winch upgrade kit... should be PERFECT! Except for batteries of course, but I think these should keep me goin untill I can scrounge up the funds for a new charger and a few LiPos

I'm still unsure if I'll be at Raymond... depends on my brother (and the weather)

Keep us updated about a GTG at Coronado. I enjoy scaling up there, but hate going alone. I might be able to make it further, but I'd be relying on my brother... and his schedule is hectic.

All in all, we're all set! It'll be good to see some of these rigs around here get completed, I'll help in any way I can (I don't have many building tools, nor a welder or shop, but I'll gladly offer my "expertise" and hardware:lmao:)

thanks.rig almost.done. just need to know how to get there

Interesting....are you gonna be getting a shafty scaler anytime? Also what is the stock radio, am/fm/2.4ghz?

This may get shafty axels next winter, leaving my options open? Radio is fm, 27mhz

Lemme help you out? i got these laying around... and i could use some computer help? maybe we can work something out? "thumbsup" PM me?

Probably will finish this one and start on either a trail recover 6x6 with duel rotators, or a tow rig and trailer.

Well.... no new pictures....too busy dodging tornados over the weekend. I'll be out there sorting things out this week in the evenings, so I'll get them soon.

I must admit it makes me a little nervous this being the week of the Raymond River Run..........and there is no chatter......??????? Lets have a roll call for this weekend.

i will be there, Elbandito will too. He is taking his Van and i will have my Quad cab Dakota, i will meet him at his place in Mac and we will drive out together, plenty of room for passengers and gear if anyone needs a ride. I will be bringing a full set of screw drivers and my assorted screw kit. will also have a nice big Cube cooler for cool beverage storage. my rig may not have a hood, but she will be running and should be mostly water ready.
