I will be at castlemens run spillway sun 8/16/15 around 8:30-9am to test & tune with my 2.2 S. & trail comp rigs with gates, timer, & score sheet. Anyone is welcome to come & have a little fun.

Bill, I live near Oglebay. Have a few scale crawlers, looking for a couple good places locally to trail run and check out some events. Is there a local group that gets together regularly? If so, would like to get involved and help out.
Thanks, Paul.

We have a club that's local, ovrc, we are all from your area, wheeling, shadyside, stc, martinsferry, about 15 of us that get together all the time, iam having a gtg on sept 12th an 13th at my place, its all scale type trails for class one, two, three an run what ever, we are on facebook."thumbsup"

I belong to wpacrawlers.com & we should be having a comp at castlemens run on sun 8/30/15. We run 2'2 S, 2.2 Pro, & trail class. Great people, lots of fun, & I've learned lot more about crawling than just crawling with friends & family. If you want I will post the next comp on this page. All are welcome at our comps.

I CAN'T FIND YOU ON FACEBOOK, I TYPE IN OVRC ON FACEBOOK BUT SOMETHING ELSE COMES UP. Caps lock was on sorry. Would like to find out more about your club.

I have done a couple of comps with wpac, good bunch of guys! our club is ovrc crawlers, its a closed group on face book. I will see whats going on 8/30 an see if some of us can make it, thanks for the info.

I got onto RC in 2010 with a summit, got addicted & now have 15 rigs from 1/5-1/16 in scale & a boat. For the first 3 years a friend of ours would come over every sunday and race but he found other hobbies & dose not race much anymore, & then our grandkids come over every once & a while , so I found wpac & ran the last 4 comps of last year with our wraith in trail class but I am running a SCX for trail & a 2.2 S. this year Would like to do more scale stuff but the rest of our club would rather keep it like it is. I did tent camp at Roush creek july 10-12 of this year & competed in the 2.2S class. Would like to find out more about your club if it is open to new members.

We are just a bunch of guys an girls that like trail runs an gtgs only 5 of us actually compete, trail class an class 2 class 3 everyone else just runs for fun, we do travel atleast twice a year( road trips ) jump on ovrc crawlers an check us out.

I am off the 30th and will be heading to castlemans, thanks.
I've been into r/c since the mid 80's and still have an original sand scorcher, might resurrect it. Modern electronics should make it something incredible.

Sounds good , I will check it out. Thanks for responding. We have a 150 yard rock filled wash at our place that's fun to run but I do travel to ohio pyle & castlemens run for comps, test & tune, fun runs & I'm always on the look out for a fun place to play & people to do it with. I go out playing with our RC's every sunday, with or without someone to do it with. We have a 50 yard ruff oval track with small driver stand so between the wash & track I have a place to play hear but still like to travel to different places every other sunday for a change of pace. If you ever want to check out our place just let me know, I think it would be a good place for a trail type of GTG. Hope to see you on the rocks/trail someday.

On the wpacrawler web site there is a comp scheduled for 8/30/15 & I was told it would be at castlemens run but there is a small chance it will be at ohio pyle. If you have never been to ohio pyle for crawling it is worth the drive, I go out by myself sometimes, it's beautiful scenery & a fun place to play. Ohio pyle & castlemans run are both about 1hr. & 15min. drive from our place so it's no big deal for me but we do have one person that drives from Moundsville WV. Hope to see you on the rocks & if you ever want to come check out our place sometime for a rock crawling/trail run just let me know we are in west newton.
