Like the tittle says I am starting a build thread on an rc speedy chassis! Like I’m sure just about everyone the first time I saw an rc speedy chassis, I knew I had to get one at some point. However that was when the c1 was out and I had no idea were to get one. Fast forward to about 6 months ago and i stumbled on the rc speedy website and nearly put down the deposit but talked myself out of it….. however about 3 months ago I was at a eparcc trail run and someone had a c2. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get one soon! However the owner of it told me the c2 had been discontinued and an updated version hadn’t been announced.

So I put my deposit down on the chassis about 2 weeks later. Then I honestly almost forgot about the chassis until I got an email from rc speedy, and after a few emails I was told the c3 would be released in 2 days so I knew what I had to get! After sending rc speedy back the options I wanted (watch the prices, they get expensive quick!)

Fast forward to about a week and a half ago I was sent some pics of my chassis

I was told the chassis was done and it was just waiting on options. Then on Saturday I got the final payment request for it, well the chassis arrived today!

I went scrolling through the rc speedy Facebook page and happened to see another pic of it

Now onto the fun stuff!

This version of the c3 is for the vs410 pro/ultra, which I of course only have a set of axles for! Anyways the rest of the options are the cnc hood and grille, bump stops, sway bar, interior, black fuel cell, front protection grill with fairlead, removable dual servo mount, scale radiator, q series front lights and a 4 inch light bar with protective mount.

The plans for this truck are to build it into a fairly capable trail pig. I’m not going to comp this truck, it’s too nice and way too expensive to destroy so I want to give it at least a chance to stay in good shape
