Last week I was at the LHS after work and for what ever reason a knightrunner followed me home! Then I just so happen to hear about a fun run at a part not too far from my house with hiking trails and pretty much knew immediately I was taking this truck with me. I mean I have other trucks, but all are in different stages of being built. This one just happens to be together already!

So after swapping the rx, mounting a reefs 800:is winch with losi 22 5.0 servo mounts and charging up 2 3s lihv packs I was ready to go.

Here’s some iPhone pics of the truck at ringing rocks park

The truck actually did really well! The only real issues it had were the rtr servo wasnt too thrilled after the esc took a bath in water. Anyways it still survived the rest of the trip! Only other issues were from the tiny 1.55 tires and long wheelbase. Other than that she did really well.

So now time to clean off a very dirty truck and get some upgrades on the way! Also would like to see if I can figure out how to clear a 4.19 tire without hacking up the body.

Goal with this truck is to build a c1 legal overland rig with potentially wayy too much power, roc412 3100kv maybe?

Those trucks look fantastic, Element is knocking it out of the park.

Great spot to wheel too, looks like it was very wet. Last time up there it was dry as a bone - there was just a tiny trickle of water going over the rock ledge.

Are you part of eparcc?

I’ve got a epx kit coming for this along with a roc412 3100kv/mamba x sitting around and just picked up a protek 370.

I need to see if I have 100mm shocks sitting around to see if they will be enough of a suspension lift to clear 4.19 tires

Swapped out the rest of the electronics on the truck, it’s now got a mamba x, roc412 3100kv with a protek 170tbl.

Ran the knightrunner in a fun comp at Green Lake Park. I did fairly well, had a roll over and hit a few gates but the truck did good! Even made a few gates i was sure it wasn’t.

The bowhouse n2r steering parts and some printed parts will be going on this truck soon

I was on the other side running the orange trail. :) Didn't realize there was anything going on at the big rock or I would have swung over.

You should’ve gone! That was my first time going to that park, it’s freakin massive!

Anyways I got the results back of the fun comp, out of 3 courses with 16 scale points, I finished second in class 1 adventure!

Now I don’t know what cage difference is between class 1 trail ready and adventure, but I’ll take it!

Truck is ready for a run at rausch creek this weekend. Just cleaned it up, fixed the front driveshaft and swapped wheels and tires out. I have the bowhouse stuff for the front as well waiting to go in but don’t think I will have time

Didnt run the truck long at rausch, mostly because the people I was running with most of the day left and the gladiator trans went so quick.

Anyways the truck did ok, there really wasn’t much there for this truck as the rocks seemed more towards c2. However I was able to find rocks for it, which it did good on. After about 30-45 minutes of running it the truck was up fairly high on an obstacle, around 15-20 feet up. The truck ended up taking a short cut and rolled all of the down hill. The truck miraculously ended up landing on its wheels and was vx able to drive away. The only carnage I’ve seen soo far is a broken mirror and all 4 shocks have little to no oil left in them
