Hey guys, just received my TF2 and can't seem to figure out how to mount the CCHand bumper I just purchased.

Can anyone tell me what to do/if this is a defect... ?

Thanks! :)

Try to use a razor to clean out the holes if there is any if you can't do that then I would just use small grub screws top an bottom to hold it in place

Do you think this was intentional or a manufacturer's error? Of the latter, then I might just send it back...

It's not a manufacturers error. You can use either grub screws or button heads (with thread lock if you are using the metal bumper bracket), and it works fine. You just need to pick a screw long enough to put pressure on the bumper without sticking out. I can post pix of mine with details on the hardware I used when I get back from business travels in a few days if you are having trouble figuring it out.

Looks fine to me, slide it in and righten it down, or mark and drill the hole you need

Really I thought that they where pre drilled my bad I know my metal marlin crawler bumper was, it just looked like it was unfinished like they marked the holes but didn't finish it or power coat covered the holes

I dunno seems different manufactures to it different :)

X2. Drilling all the way through will weaken it and is unnecessary, just use grub srews or short buttonheads.
