well...this is as far as I've gotten, lol. I'm going to build it just like the instructions say, use the wheels/tires that came with the kit, and the Phoenix body...I actually like the Phoenix body and that's why I chose this one over the Fordyce. I will add some KC 3d prints - interior and tailgate for sure...not sure what else I might add.

I have no idea on what electronics I'm gonna use yet.

Sorta thinking matte tan/black for the color scheme but I'm not 100% on that yet either. I really like the blue combo on the Vanquish website but I'm not sure what blue they used.

I'm out of town this week, so hopefully I'll get something done this weekend...it'll be fun. Maybe I'll finish it this year.

ok, I lied. I set the interior bits in place today. Nothing is attached and the headrests are just laying in the seat.

I have the straight axle phoenix kit and looked at the box to see if they mentioned color but no luck.

You could likely get pretty close using Tamiya clear pearl and the a blue that is pretty close.

Unless it's the Tamiya clear blue backed with a silver or gun metal

I'm in for another Vanquish build. Heck yeah! You can email VP and they may help you with the paint color although I have a feeling that Moosejaw may do some of their paint work.
