I know this topic has been covered a little, I have read a couple of threads already.
The reason for making this, is I'm in the UK, almost all the battery suggestions were for people in the USA, I can't get them shipped here and a lot of them weren't available here, since those topic sare also almost a year old, I assume maybe more batteries have been made to fit.
So, I'm curious, what fits and is readily available for us UK guys?
So far the only confirmed one that I can order now is the Nano-Tech 3s 3300 65-130C, but over here the price is quite high for 3300mah, so I wanted to check other options, as I will need to buy a few of them.
Is there anything else that fits easily, ideally in the HobbyKing UK warehouse, or at least available in the UK?
Some people in the other threads said the batteries they have don't fit even though they are smaller than the maximum dimensions, so I want to be sure before ordering.
I would ideally prefer some 4000-5000 packs so I can share them with my Yeti (which needs some more too)

How's the shipping if you order from their Netherlands warehouse? It's cheap as chips for Croatia. And they had every sort of lipo I needed in stock, from 1.5 to 5Ah 2s&3s.

I prefer their softpacks (Turnigy, Zippy) BTW.

I love my Turnigy batteries.

They are expensive when ordering from your local warehouse?

Not actually tried, although I also want some Yeti LiPos which are in the UK, so would need to place two separate orders in that case, so ideally need them in the UK warehouse.

huh, they appear to be out of business :/ my AV goes crazy when i click the link, it seems someone has redirected it to a malicious site.

Yes, mine did too so I exited straight out of there!

Which ones specifically do you use in the Bomber?
The best bang for buck so far seem to be these; https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-3600mah-3s-30c-lipo-pack-xt-60.html
But I need confirmation they fit comfortably from someone before clicking buy.
I think a total of 7200mAh should be fine for me on brushed electrics to begin with, eventually when it goes brushless (Mamba X and slate/Roc412) I will buy another pair.

These are the two that I use. They have been reliable and have put up with my misuse and abuse for the last two years. I have not noticed an performance degradation and the internal resistance is still low. They were reasonably priced. Run time on the 4000 pack is over 2 hours on the trails. The 5300 is over 3 hours, I have not had a hike long enough to reach it's limits though.
My rig's configuration is as follows
-Mamba X running a CC Skate motor 2850KV
-Savox SW 1210SG steering
-Savox SV-0220MG on the 2speed
-Maddog KOH light controller

Dimensions of the batteries
-5300 43mmX31mmX137
-4000 42mmX25mmX137

I have also run Venom packs in the past. But no one seems to like them, so I will keep my opinions to myself.

Thanks, I will look into Gens Ace, they might not be very accessible for me over here.
We used to get them from Germany, but we can't import them anymore unfortunately, so I'm not sure of the stock situation.
Those dimensions are very similar to the 3000 and 3600 Turnigy 30C 3s I have found though, so maybe I should just order a pair to start with.

Well, upon checking, it seems I could actually source some Gens Ace... The downside being, the 4000 3s 25C is ÂŁ59 (which is around $80) and that's 4x more than the Turnigy.
As much as I like Gens Ace and appreciate the suggestion, I couldn't choose the Gens Ace over Turnigy there.

They are really that much over there? I know I didn't pay more than $70 US for the 5300 battery and the 4000 even more reasonable. Oh well, good luck in your quest.

Sadly yes, I searched for about an hour, but didn't find any that were cheaper... Well I did, but then they had higher shipping so it was still too expensive.
I ordered some of the 3600 Turnigy packs, after getting a PM reply from a guy who ran them and said they fit fine... Fingers crossed :ror:

I was reading about potential supply issues with cobalt in the near future and decided now would be a good time to try out a 3s battery for my RR10.

Just purchased : Gens ace 5000mAh 11.1V 3S 45C LiPo Battery Pack with Deans Plug.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4KP0O6?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

did not have much time after work and will try again tonight but tried to install and it did not seem to fit... I have the stock battery tray- is there a trick or is this thing to big?

That's very unfortunate :(
If it makes you feel any better, I just double checked and the SSD diff covers I ordered for my SCX10 II are actually for SSDs own axle and won't fit mine lol.

Doh! :(

All in all for being a complete newb I have had pretty good luck with parts...

I am 2 for 3 on this order - picked up some BoomRacing links and drive shafts in the same order, and was very pleased that they are bolt on replacements. (They feel very strong too)

So for future reference to anybody who is looking for the info stock RR10 bomber battery should be less than 140mm

Thanks for the feed back. I can confirm the Gens Ace battery I purchased is about 10mm wider than the stock battery tray will allow.

Get another and run them in parallel down either side of the body...hold in with velcro straps....loads of run time then.

I the battery tray width(front to rear on the vehicle) is adjustable. Two screws at the bottom of the tray.
