Hi all, .....just registered. I'm looking in getting a CR-01 & I've got to say you guy's sure make them look the goods.. what with the paint jobs and wheeling shots:-P

Anyway I wanted to know if anyone has a link to the body options you can put on this beast.

Thanks

You can put whatever body onto it that you want to, so long as the wheelbase is about right. :???:

If you want to see what various bodies look like on the CR-01, I'd suggest checking out the CR-01 Pictures thread that is sticky'd at the top of the CR-01 Forum. There are 5 pages or so of nothing but pictures of different CR-01's running a wide variety of bodies.

Yeah, thanks metalry. I had a look but was hoping I could find a KJ Cherokee body (Liberty in the US) to put on one. I'm leaning toward the FJ40 Yota at this stage but we shall see when I have the cash ready to buy.
THanks again.

The supplied FJ40 body has a wheelbase that is too short for the CR-01. The Pro-Line Bushwacker is slightly longer and fits the wheelbase better. It means you can save the nicer Tamiya FJ body for another project.

Pro-Line bodies aren't as detailed, but they're pretty good and they are generally made of thicker lexan.

this is how a pro-line ford 150 looks on the cr-01 chassis.

it sits too high otherwise the wheels will hit the body .
i didn't like the way it looked so now i'm back with the original body.
this body will be used for an 1.9 project.
