I started collecting parts for my first Twin Hammers project several weeks ago. The rig itself was used once or twice by the previous owner and has hardly a scratch on it.

My parts list includes:

27t hand wound motor
225mg servo for shifting
Castle Sidewinder V3 waterproof
CC bec
Savox 1268 servo
Crawler-Dad Led's
Axial beadlocks with Locked Up rings and scale hardware
Axial 1.9 Trepadors
Blue Monkey +1 Dual shock Stage 2 kit
Blue Monkey front stand up shock mount
Traxxas aluminum steering bell crank and Blue Monkey mod kit
Blue Monky KMS winch
Carter Fab aluminum panels
Axial EXO radiator and tail light set
RC4WD 100mm Kings and RC4WD True Scale 110mm shocks for the rear
Axial SCX10 shocks up front set to 80mm
Silly Putty front Diff
Blue Monkey ex long MIP rear drive shaft
Vaterra rear sway bar kit

Love my t.h. Too, you get the blue monkey front chassis plate? It's crucial to have I've broke three stock ones and have now switched to the aluminum one.. Much mo better haven't broke it yet.. I run a Novak setup in mine with a 10.5 brushless setup, on two cell shorty pack...hauls ass and climbs almost as good too.. I run it on my backyard race track too and it rips, it totally loves loose tracks...

Yeah, Blue Monkey stand up shock mount in front and dual shock +1" kit in the rear.

I'm going to give the 27t brushed on 3s a try since I already have that and then play with the gearing for a bit. If I don't like that I may go with a 25t Holmes motor.

Nice Brian. I think Holmes makes a TH specific motor. Is the SV3 sensored?
If I didn't have the Exo I'd pick up one of these, they seem to be a good all around rig. But I do have good fun bashing the Exo.

SV3 is pretty much just a waterproof SV2 so no sensor.

I've seen the TH motor from HH but I liked how Erin's worked with the 25t motor from HH. I think the TH motor is 13t or something like that.

My little helper making quick work of the TH.

Traxxas bel crank installed. I used Axial servo mounts in place of the stock units to allow room for the servo arm, worked perfectly.

Looking real good, I need to get my steering installed too.

So the scx servo mounts move the servo back abit?

Thanks Erin!

Yeah, without them the horn was hitting the bell crank and now as you can see From the pic I've got at least 1/16".

My 110mm True Scale shocks showed up today, they look just as good as I Envisioned they would next to the 100mm Kings.
The 110mm True Scales are almost exactly the same length compressed and extended as the Kings.

Did a little body work to the hood so the fair lead didn't have to stick up too high.

This is a very nice looking build. Can't wait to see some pictures of it out playing. And obviously feedback on all the upgrades.

Thanks guys!

Erin, yeah I wanted the back of the fair lead to be almost level with the hood so the crease was necessary, I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Looks good B!!!
I just got my GCM goodies....going to do a small build thread as soon as I get to it. I like the hood mod you did!"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"
