Black Label Crawlers ~ChopperV2~ XR10

YW man. I did a little build thread on my XR. It's pretty crazy the way these things can crawl. Still have my LCC sort of. My son kinda inherited it. Still works great. We've had zero issues with that truck and he beats the snot out of it. You still have your 4PK?? I got the 4PKS when i got my XR and i must say it's one of the best investments ($$) i have made. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

I will check out your xr build for sure, cool you still have the LCC..I beat mine to death aswell with no issues, just know now that worms are not for me.

Radio wise I am kinda leaning towards something out of the norm..I was gonna get a 4pk again, but after talking with Nabil a bit I am pretty stuck on the Radiopost 4ch.Its a lot cheaper than a 4pk,has all the same features, full color screen, and their 4ch reciever is ever so tiny..

Super awesome i like it alot

Thanks for the compliment.

It's nice to see you back, man. Looks like you're off to a great start. Think you could use a free lid on that thing? 8)
Thanks for the kind words Jason..I swear you read my mind..I was just thinking about what to do for a body..I had an idea for a paint scheme already..Just can't decide on a body..torn between my usual pleaser and the parma one like nabils..so we gonna talk about that one too..But whatchu talkin bout free lid??8) Shoot me a pm brotatoe..

thanks Chris..Yah its hard to quit rc for sure..It has was of drawin you back..

Did some more work on the electronics box.I needed to have a spot for the reciever,so I used the optional esc mount from the kit.I trimmed off the original mounting holes so it would fit on the end of the box.drilled and taped two 3mm holes to fasten it to the side. I used some short m3 fastners with a dab of ca on the tip since the plastic isnt very tough.worked out good though.

I went ahead and cut the lower cover for the box to fit what was left to cover the hole.

Yah I am gonna get the aluminum bodies and maybe try the mini revo bladder..jerry just happened to have these laying around and let me have them.I am really liking the smaller shocks and softer springs.I think its finally soft enough..

I kept seeing all the pictures showing the balance point of rigs, figured I would give it a try and see where my balance point was.I was very surprised to find out that mine is very close to 60/40 right now..I just hope it stays that way..

Well I did have to buy my woman something for Xmas cuz of it,so it cost me a couple bucks....we decided not to buy eachother anything this year and spoil the kids..Then I got all excited when I found out I won day 9 and was very verbal about it..Then she came in the room wanting to know what she was getting now that I got something..
:ror:

Finally got up the nerve to chop on the giveaway body from Rockthrasher and get it mounted up..The paint work on this thing is amazing..Jason is the master at custom lids..
