On mine I cut the trx rod ends. I was able to shorten the rear ~1/4"....

Bill, how do you like the driveshafts? Any regrets on adding the HR brass portal weight?
 
I've never had a JunFac driveshaft fail on me (yes, I'm knocking on wood) with any of my trucks on brushless 3S power. I did have to use a sanding barrel on my Dremel to remove some material on the bottom of the transmission in order to provide 100% clearance for the driveshaft.

No regrets on the HR brass weights so far.
 
Do the junfac driveshafts have a lot of play like an mip? If you haven't had any failures, I might have to try them. Are they rebuildable?
 
The JunFac shafts are fairly tight, I've never really compared them to a MIP. I like the smaller size compared to MIP though. Yes, fully rebuildable.
 
Wow, those new mips look awesome. What is the length of a trx driveshaft? Does it compare to a scx or wraith length?

I made 2 sets of front Lower links first set was 3/32" brass rod (which gained no weight) then I made a set out of 1/4" brass rod ( which doubled the link weight) Installed the 1/4" on the front lower. I then used the stock front lowers on the rear and the 3/32 brass on the rear upper. The uppers and lowers on the rear are the same size. but that will put you dead nuts on 12.3" i also moved the rear shock towers fwd and used the plastic piece included in the bag to keep stock mounting holes"thumbsup"
 
I finally got an opportunity to progress with my new TRX4 body.

The roof, side stripe and grill is PS-1 white, the body is PS-3 light blue and the bed is PS-5 black. The white and blue were applied internally and the blue and black sections were coated with PS-55 flat clear externally the white roof remained gloss. I'm extremely happy with how this body turned out despite rushing things a bit!

I'm thinking of changing bodies on mine and like the looks of yours. I'm using the original tires (baked off and reused with some beadlocks) and was wondering how they compared in size to the ones you are using? Any chance you still have the original tires and would be willing to take a comparison picture so I could get an idea how they'd look with that body?
 
That Chevy body has a great color it really came out nice and the tire choice and rims are perfect. Looks like the new SSD front bumper too? Hope the rear mounts up easy for you!

Pics below for you JSterrett. Holding the Canyon tire and BFG tire together, they are essentially identical in size.

Thank you. Yes, SSD front bumper for the LR body....just happens to work with the '66 C10 body too.
