best brushless motor for downhill crawling

The freewheeling after applying throttle is the only downfall of sensored brushless in crawlers. Gearing/drag brake and driving style are the only ways around it. The gearing is the leverage against the drag brake, a somewhat light drag brake will allow you to crawl downhill without throttle. Steering also slows a descent, when applicable.

So lets say that i move to a motor with way more torque. Will that make the problem less.. or is it more of a universal.. touch throttle n down goes truck

Idaho, how did you fix your issue.. or didnt you?

Jokers. Yes that is my main problem. Just doin research before i buy since my experience.. even tho wrong motor, was bad for downhill , but awesome everywhere else

I went back to brushed motors. I'll see how this revolverS does after I get it and might go back as you can't beat the brushless power.
