hi, im going to upgrade my tires, they need to be 2.2 size and cope with not only rocks(obviously) but also mud!!, are the mud slingers any good for this job?, or super swampers? etc.........................
:oops::oops:
any advice would be great!! "thumbsup"

ok. are you gonna be running 50/50 or more toward rock or more toward mud? are you looking at competing? scale tires? i dont know how well the pl tsl tires do on the mud but ive seen them work great on rocks but not quite as well as some of the other tires. the pitbull rock beast work good on the rocks and work really well in the mud at least for me. never ran the mudslinger but i have heard they dont work super well on the rocks but kick ace in the mud. im looking forward to the new axial tire coming out.

thanks for the advice,, well about 50/50,, its tricky because in england (where i live) 1 day its wet and muddy the next day its not !! lol , but im gonna look into the pitball rock beast and mud slingers,, my rig isn't a pure comp rig but NOT a scale rig,, "thumbsup" when are the new axial tires coming out? wat r they like?

I have the pit bulls and there ok not as good as i thought on wet slick river rock as the rovers .but do a bit beter for me in mud and loose dirt than the rovers.the mid slingers not good an rock but if you cut the small lugs oyt it dose butter.Comp cut in the mud is awsome .The tsls are good on every thing rock mud snow wood. I love them and they just look bad ass .The pit bulls imop are to wide and i cant get full stering the rub every thing.Hope this helps

Ya...I rock the TSL's on my 1.9....Love them....Again, the TSL will be cool if your
going for that 2.2 scale look...But I still think the rovers are a better tire all
around then the TSL's, They work in ever condition I run them in.

Pitbulls all the way. I had them out on ice mud dirt rock and in water today and they worked just like the 1:1 pitbull tires. Amazing grip and softness and they clean out very well. Don't forget as they wear they will get better too.

I think Pitbulls are the best all around tire that looks fairly scale, and TSL's are a close second. The Rovers are probably a better overall performing tire, but not scale looking at all.

I cant tell you whats the best, but I can tell you the worse tires I have ever used are Flat Irons. Both the 2.2 and the 1.9's are horrible. Sucks because they look so cool. They dont grip on rocks worth a crap and constantly fill with dirt/mud when trying to use them for trail. Both sets I had went into the garbage can.

rovers the only way to go!!!! don't waste money on anything else if your a scaler super swampers the only way to go there too!!"thumbsup"
