Before anyone asks I have already done a search on this and didn't find a thread.

I am new to the 1.9 class and don't like the tires that came with my sc10 TR. I know for my 2.2 scaler I love the tsl swampers, but the 1.9 swampers are really small. Looking to find the best tire for rocks and occasional dirt. Any and all hope would be appreciated.

How do the baja claws perform in comparison to the swampers ??

May as well go 2.2 with tires that big. ;-)
nah they are too wide and dont look good IMO

i have the new RC4WD Boggers and they are awesome! they are hell in the mud and out preform every where Rok loxs (except on slick rock) and any other 1.9 in any situation.

Thanks and keep it coming. The rocks I usually crawl on are slick and so far the best we've seen their are the swammpers. I may end up getting a set of those for the rocks and something bigger for other rocks and trail riding.

lol jeff you already know what works at nicks get the swampers for indoor and get the claws for the outdoors! "thumbsup"

What is the difference in indoor and outdoor wheeling that you would suggest getting two different sets of tires?

Thanks

Great answer....

If you recommend to someone to get two different tires, I am curious to know why.
well we have tested how the pro-line 1.9tsl super swappers run better on the rocks then the mt claws due to the different compounds in the foams if we could find a better foam for the claws they would be great even when i tried them for my self on my own rig i had some problems and yes they can get you to places you cant get to very easily with the small 1.9's but if you have a good set you could probly go anywhere! but thats just my theory

although the 1.9s arent really true to scale for the 1/10 vehicles...i think they look a lot better than 2.2s on the same vehicle. i run the claws on some CAC 6 spokes unvented with stock foams...ive been really happy with them so far...i have them unvented just so i dont have to tear them down to dry out...

Proline swampers. My indoor course is all natural rock. and the prolines seem to work best. But my claws seem to realy shine loose stuff.

Yeah, I'm going to have to order some swampers I've seen all of you guys that run them going places on the rocks that the others without them can't get. I've been toying around with my new crawler and wow what a change. I'm thinking claws for the trail rides. Are the stock tires decent out doors? Because I might hold off on the claws until I can do some other upgrades.
