Finally got some materials and time to get my old comp rig back on it's Rovers. Some updating and a new chassis will be in the works.

Pile of stuff:

Started by making a skid, my original was a bit too narrow for the newish electronics package:

Should have a roller soon, but right now it's burrito time!

Plate is .062" carbon, I will put in a tiny flat head to keep it from spinning around the central 3mm screw:

BEC, BXR, RC4WD dig switch, Spk. rec.

This chassis will be temporary, ordering 3mm carbon plates, but not for a month at least. I should have this rig up and running tomorrow.

Let's get back to this rig, as you might tell from yesterday's pics, chassis was quite wide, so I narrowed everything down 10mm to 45mm between the chassis plates. Put an M2.5X6 flat socket to stop the spin.

Haven't seen a Berg or those tires in a while! That Tekin BXR ESC is so good.

Yeah they worked good at our coastal comps back in the day. Tekin just easy to set up, good drag brake, never let me down.

So, everything works, even got motor wires right on the first try :)

Dig switch has power , just have to set up switch:

So now will get dig working, then hard wire motors in. Maybe a steep test in a while.

Took a different turn and decided to go with dual BXR's, just easier to program dig and overdrive. I finally did get the switch to work, but I'll save that for another MOA build later.

Will try to get a vid going, just busy with other stuff here at the cabin, and still have to tinker with adjustments on this thing.
