Bay City or Tri Citys MI

Well I had a blast today! The wraith gear box is ready to go back in and take some more snow bashing. Got the floor pan marked on a piece of styrene so it should have an interior for next weekend.

Nick- that body is about a 9.5" WB and is about 6.75" wide...smaller than I was thinking.

Was putting in the new motor and realized that the motor shaft is too long to put the cover back on. Going to half to cut down the shaft so that I can put the cover back on.

Well everything is up and running on the wraith. I found an old servo I forgot that I had. Will work for bashing but no way it can handle crawling. Ran for about five minutes in the front yard until I tried going from full reverse to full forward spun the set pin out on the motor. Soon as everything dries off I'll have to lock tight that and build my enclosures for everything. Right now everything is in a zip lock (for testing).

Hay fellas a guy at my work has a tmaxx that he's looking to sell or trade
Just wondering if any body may be interested?? It comes with a bunch of parts wheels tires ect also 2 extra motors I believe they are 2.5s and a blown 3.3 but already has the rebuild kit for it. He looking for a decent electric off road truck (sc. Rusty ect) or possibly a crawler don't have to be a scaler. Possibly even a venom.

Just thought I would post it he's an older guy that bought it to help a guy out with cash I was going to see if he would bring it in so I could get some pics of it. It's in good shape from what I seen

not sure what everyone's plans were for bowling league this week but I am going to bail....

I will be locked away in the Mad Styrene Lab for night #3 of the wraith interior build."thumbsup" This sh** it going to be sick!

Looks good Tim. Did you do a primer coat? Or just sand and paint. Just curious.

Well figured out the motor problem. had to grind a longer flat area so I could get a stronger hold on the shaft. Insert joke here. Now it's time to figure out the electronics. I want to run them to the back of the wraith so I have room to run a servo winch in the front in the future. Just not sure how I'm going to do it and still make it look stock.

Nick could you check and see if one of the tractor supply store tool boxes fits in the rear behind the seats for me.

lol thanks...but kinda pissed how it turned out...got to wet sand it down and repaint it...nope no primer...went to rogers and talked to roger him self on lunch and to see what i should do so i ended up buying a can of flat black model glue and some model window tint...i dont recoment the window tint didnt come out how i planned!

Ok guys I went back to brushed motor & xl5 esc in the x blazer. I had a traxxas 20t stinger motor sitting in my box so i put it on there. It should be perfect for a trail ride.

I pulled the 21.5 out of the wraith & installed my vxl brushless motor & castle sv2 in it. Wow this should be fun. not much for crawling but should be great for trail riding
