edit: well just pm'ed a guy about a custom chassis, and yeah, lol $450 for a southern buggy chassis alone!

Yeah, its f-ing nutz, I was thinking along the lines of 150 for the chassis "head case" not $450!!! Thats just nuts, just. The buggy im watching being built has about $1500 so far in parts,

I will keep my eye open on the for sale section for a used chassis lol

You can build one your self for around $60 If ya have the time. Its not that hard! Ive done a chassis and a couple of bumpers It just takes time.

Im thinking about it. During the winter months its slow at work, maybe i can hook up with the Machine builders and they could help me bend and weld one up.
