Bay City or Tri Citys MI

Got my Losi Micro crawler today. I had an old 1/24 jeep cj body so I threw it on and it looks good. Was playing with it for a while. I did have to pick up a new transmitter and also picked up an extra battery. The only mech mod I made was I added some velcro so I could move the batter to either axle. It is a very capible little snot as Long as you remember its scale.

come on out to the last comp this Sunday at Camp Twisted tons of food and door prizes going to be lots of fun "thumbsup"

9 am start time
bring your 2.2 scalers,Sportsman rigs and 1.9 we will run them all "thumbsup""thumbsup"

Id probly come out to watch, but like i said befor Other comps and threads in differant parts of the country have no problem with holding a sportsman class with scx10s with 2.2's

basicly it dont sound like you even have a sportsman class, just pro comp class?

I asked in you own thread what classes, you said 2.2 that dont give me much information. hell my rustler or stampede could run 2.2's

So I was in Midland this morning and I swung by the BMX track. There is a completely new track that looks killer! Big jumps, longer track, and dirt berms....anyone up for a trip one of these days?

ya, a good buddy of mine is part of the BMX crew here that runs the track. he said they put up a new track a few weeks back. could be fun, but i know they (the BMX guys) are VERY finicky about the track.

I def. be up for going to the bmx track. I understand that they put time in fixing up the track but RC cars don't ruin it. They just need to understand that it's a public park and is there for all of us.

I can go later tonight or tomorrow.

ah, thats where the cookie crumbles.

yes the park is public, but the bike track area is leased from parks and recs, 10.00 for 10 yrs lease. so that fact means they indeed can be sticklers about it.

while most rcs wont bother the track, i can gaurentee, if i were to run my baja on it, it will be messing it up. heh.

but ya, overall, it shouldnt be an issue. but it could be. the way i understand it, the club that is running it, had to do alot of hoop jumping to get the land to use. with that said, seems their is alot of open area out at stratford that could be utilized for a permanant rc track.

so anyone running tomorrow?

I've been told that in the past when the police were called out, they told the bike track people that it's public land and there's nothing they can do about it. With that said, I'd prefer to not find out first hand lol

Last time I was there the cops had been there. The understanding that was made was if kids are inside the fence with bikes, NO RC cars. All other times are fair game.

I think Nick just needs to bring in some more dirt lol

its too bad that bandit paintball dont have the track there anymore,

if it was a dust issue they just need to set up an automatic watering system.

but I think i might head down to AMS in grand blanc one of these times and pay 10bucks to play on their track for a whole day during practice days. should all go and have a "fun race". I know wed nights and Friday nights is electric race days. and saturday i belive is open practice day and sunday is nitro races.
