I wont be!!! I have to put diffs in both of my trucks!!! We blew both out last weekend. but you guys are welcome to.

Morning. Are you guys doing any rock crawling in the area, or just off roading..
I just moved back home from Missouri and am looking for a local place to get my RC fix..
Right now I have 2 XR10 crawlers, a 13.5 late model dirt car (got hooked on go fast, turn left), a b4 buggy, and a t4 truck.
During the winter, I was short course racing with either a 4X4 slash or my Losi Ten-SCTE, both of which were sold recently, and indoor crawling.
I have been thinking about selling the Associated stuff and the dirt car to get back in to short course.

hey nick we running this week?

I am down to run Thursday or Friday. Just got the bad news that my old man still doesn't have the full size SC truck ready. He is too much of a perfectionist!

Bigstu - Not much crawling going on in the area right now; we are all hooked on short course. If you bring the XR10's around that could change in a hurry! There is an SC track at Nick's (Clayton78), outdoor offroad in Gladwin (they run this Sunday), indoor offroad in Grand Blanc (AMS Raceway), and outdoor clay oval in Grand Rapids and soon in Midland

There are also indoor carpet ovals in Mt. Pleasant and Bay City during the winter. We are running a Friday night race on July 29 if you are interested in checking it out.

Sounds like I need to get some stuff up for sale, so I can start looking for another short course. But I will definately not give up on the rock crawling. Hopefully we can get some more comps in the area.

Are you guys running 4wd or 2wd and what kind of rules are you running? A couple of the tracks I raced at were more in to running spec type classes, to keep the costs down and racing competitive. The indoor track I raced at in the winter was pretty much open, if it had a short course body and it ran on 2S or less, you could run. Thank you for the info, I'll see if I can come out and run a few laps some time soon..

Clayton Raceway (Nick's house) is not organized racing so it is run whatcha brung. There are 3 or 4 of us that run 2wd and 4wd with the rest running 2wd.

Rad & Bad in Gladwin is organized club racing with 2wd, 4wd, SCB and monster truck classes. It also is pretty much run whatcha brung. Most people in the short course classes run 2S at least that I am aware of.

There are a few of us that have talked about XR10's so you could easily light a fire by bringing yours around.
