Sorry I have not been on the boards much lately. I took the 66 vw to effingham Illinois last week to a monster car show, and this week Im all involved with a vw car show at the bavarian festival. To add to the fun my father in law died and that is causing some small challenges. June is always a demanding month for vw stuff, airplane stuff and Family camping. Still next time you are in Frankenmuth give me a buzz. That site looks like fun I know where it is but never saw the rocks there! Just goes to show there are places to wheel right under your nose! Arrons frankenmuth Hobby is finished. His lease is not up till October but he has pretty much cleared it out. Pleanty of room for rocks in there now!!! Its a shame as I think with a different focus he could have made it there. Still the location is more for tourists. Still.... look at Larrys, if you set it up right they will come to you no matter where you are...

Yeah, he could of had a good thing going there. Supposedly he is going to keep that bussiness there but for more "novilty tourist things". I spoke with him and he is moving out to Milliington accross from the Post Office into a small shop (very small shop) and going to do his RC bussiness there. I just never understood why he sold the stuff he did. He had the closest Hobby shop from basicly a good 25-30 mile radius the only other 2 north would of been Rogers and Robbies and south it would of been Riders hobby and AMS raceway in Grand Blanc. I understand the Rock Course not happening, Done seem tomany people interested right now, even on this forum. He had that "DRIFTER TRACK" in there with some crap junk New Bright R/C's. My son asked if he could play with the "display / test models" and he didnt even have any batteries charged for the cars. WTF? so it really didnt suprise me it failed. I honestly dont know how he stayed open for 5 Years at his OLD loacation. I didnt even know there was a shop in Frankenmuth untill i seen it on TRAXXAS.COM  But yet never NEVER EVER had any STOCK traxxas Parts or RTR vehicals In Stock!

His old location did ok because there was hardly any overhead and word of mouth in the airplane community kept it going, well also he did paintball there and at one time had a wicked rc track that was actually pretty fun till he started promoting the mini trucks then it kinda died. Plus with the track he never really wanted to set up a series or anything, he just kinda let it run itself till it peetered out. He is becomming a male nurse and that and the fact that I think he just wants to ebay whats left means he is done. I hope he can now enjoy some flying of his own as he has not been out to the field in a LONG time. He was just married to the shop yet he still never seemed committed so thats what happend. Dont think Id want the responsibility either. It basically cost him his marrage as well.

Aaron is a good guy for sure, and Iv noticed stress upon him as of lately. So realy dont know what direction hes going in, what he told me was above about keeping that shop and having another shop, but If you really think about it, now hes gotta be commited to 2 Shops insted of 1 but if your not keeping things in stock and not selling what people want to buy then i dont know how either one is going to work out for him.?
