Bay City or Tri Citys MI

Took the RC 10 out for a spin and I think that the 3 cell lipo is just too much for the motor. It was smokin fast (very fun) but the motor was literally smoking when I was done (oops).

In other news I got my Rooster and installed it. I like it a LOT better than my old esc. Big improvement so far. CAnt wait to try it out on the rocks and trails!

Dan

I thin my rc10 could do that hill/sand thing. Looks like fun. Maybe this summer can meet at Caseville for some burgers/pizza and sand trails!!! "thumbsup"

Found some pics from a week ago.

Holy sh$t! Thats the best picture I have ever seen on this fourm! The only thing that could of made better is if ya had your crawler in there too.:lmao:

Got an order in for 4 7.2v 5000mah sub c nmh batterys. 54.00 on Ebay  will use for the buggy. How come our 540 motors work fine on 11.7v but the one in the buggy started smoking? Does anyone use 7.2 in their crawler? I kind of like the idea of having a battery that I can run all the way down with no reprocussions. Only used the lipos cuz thats what I had laying around

dan your gear ratio is way higher on the buggy also alot of motors cant handle 11.1v but because the crawlers have a very low gear ratio the motors dont have to work as hard"thumbsup"

Well I decided Im going to use velcro for a body mount for the baja. I first worked that out and filled in all the mounting holes. Then sanded and put on the primer. Will start the orange tommorow.
