Wires

Picked up some wires to make my y battery connect to run my winch and picked up a y adapter to hook up my BEC and my winch. Fingers crossed.

Can't find the book.

Well I got the wires hooked up and everything works. The problem is that I can't find the book for my radio so I don't know how to set up the third channel to run the winch from my radio. I'll look later and see if I can find the booklet.

your radio Proble won't work!!! It will have in or out no stop!!!

Figured something out ???

Jay you were right. All I got it to do at first was to go out or come in but wouldn't stop. I played with some of the other aux things. Their is one that allows you to program aux a to adjust servos in or out and stop if it's centered. I found that if I hold the botton in one direction it will roll out and if I go back to center it stops the winch. Then take it the other way and it reels the line in. I'll show you guys the next time I see you and you can let me know if it's going to work.

Lowered the orange truck body (made more body pin holes) so the thing doesnt look goofy with the 1.9's. Want to try the 1.9's on the rocks to see if my 1.9 swampers work better than my crappy 2.2's. Even though I have 2.2 swampers on the way for thursday I thought about all the guys kickin my ass with tires I allready own! I suppose it would also lower the center of gravity even if you loose some ground clearence. Hopefully will get the chance to try it out Sunday at Nicks and compare the two and figure out which I like better. Hooked up some lights like Jeff did before he cut up his truck. Had some Harbor Frieght 3.00 lights laying around and started to take the LED's out of them and hooked up two in front and two in back that I hit up with a red permanent marker. Looks good I think. Might still get some buckets for up front though as they look a little wierd in front.

Stars are $20 for the year and well worth it. The best part is you can put your name in on all of the free give aways. I know I've got my fingers crossed on winning something this year.

Okay question for everyone. When I did my wiring last night I have some exposed wire that I didn't have shrink tube that would fit over. I was thinking of putting some tool dip on them. That should work, right? Also where is a good place to get it. I was at the Tractor Supply Store today and they don't carry it.

Tool dip would work, you could always use liquid electical tape also. I think it comes with brush to apply it. Just as long as the wires are covered your good"thumbsup"
