ok so whats a good battry? i wants something smaller so it will fit on rear axel or next to full size servo siting on driver side. im runing a hitec 625mg a traxxes xl 2.5 and futaba r152je. motor is a losi crawler motor using a losi 7.2 1100ma mini pack now. its large and not alot of places to get it low. dont like putting batterys on links.

Next to the servo is the better spot. Not the best IMO, but better than the rear. I see alot of guys running these up front.

Have you considered mounting the battery on your front upper links using lexan? If so the Gens Ace 350mah 2S are a good battery and a sweet deal.

Another option is a aluminum battery mount from Infectous RC. It is a direct bolt up to the mrc pro and keeps the stock links. It mounts the servo in the center and has a battery tray that fits between the links. Very sweet design and is easy to mount up. That setup will work with up to a 860mah maxamps like I use.

Here is a link to them, they dont have a page up for their servo mounts but send them a PM and they can get you setup. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/chas...-titanium-mrc-chassis-plates-**updated**.html
