Axial XR-10 a.k.a Smurfette

Nothing much to do before next weekends indoor competition.

New shock oils. 40wt to all four.

RTR weight before the comp.

Will definately be interesting how Sofi will manage indoors. We have a record in participation coming to saturdays comp. Ten starters in pro class! "thumbsup"

The organizing team has worked hard for making best terrain as possible for this comp.

Personally I'm waiting for top 6-8 result with this rig for Sofi. Lets see. Pics and video will follow of course. "thumbsup"

Yet another comp coming with this car tomorrow. Awesome company and talented drivers in the bunker! Smurfette has been working amazingly but let's see how it works in the indoor comp. "thumbsup"

Indoor comp in the Bunker is now behind. Let's see some footage! "thumbsup"

Some new elements for this years competition in the Bunker. Guys have made these really cool! 8)

Smurfette on first course makin them pullers do a hymn. "thumbsup"

P1010232.JPG

Rig was working flawless the whole day. Not a single problem.

P1010263.JPG

Pro class winner LaaLaa looks the course through before Sofi gets on her way.

P1010262.JPG

Sofi drove the first course really well. Rest of the courses DNF, but they surely were tough.

P1010266.JPG

You would have to get perfect lines to these gates, if you don't wanna screw them up. Outdoors it's different. You have tons of room to go and get another line most of the time.

I was pleased to see, that Sofi drove so well indoors. This will be a good season! "thumbsup"

Here is the first course on video. Second best score in this one! Really good driving! "thumbsup""thumbsup"

Sixth spot in eleven driver field. That's really respective effort by Sofi. Let's keep it up in the future too! ;-)

There's another five weeks to the next comp, but in the mean time, I think we will have to do some training, if the weather lets us. We'll see. Rig is in perfect shape, would be foolish to start messing around the setup now.

Bunker race behind! I'm really pleased about my driving. Smurfette works still extremely well so I know that I could have done even better result with it. Tracks were quite difficult. As Samu said there is no room for getting another line to the gates. You have to be extremely exact to get the lines right. But it was good that tracks were difficult because they were the same to all. Of course my pullers helped a lot! Those motors keep surprising me "thumbsup" Excellent day with great company! Next time some outdoor racing and hopefully even better results!8)

looks like a great indoor course,,,
I would LOVE to have a cellar like that to train in during the winter season,,,the winter is looooooong here far north in Norway,,
I would guess kinda like a winter in Finnland...
The SUDU looks as great as ever also.. Pullers you say,,, 400 or 500???
I am thinking about bying a pair off 400 pullers but I wanna know first that they packs alot off power and have some low speed control...

Yes, winter is one big pain in the ass for the Nordic coutries....

That's not SuDu chassis, this is CCC Mutt. "thumbsup" And the motors are HH 400 33T Pullers. What I've sawn, those give enough low speed control and torque and still manages to give one hell of a burst when you need it.

True words, Samu. That's exactly the reason why i love my HH 400 puller's so much"thumbsup"

Great job Mrs. Softy!! I looked all videos i could found, but your runs looked best:mrgreen:

It will be interesting to see how your performance will growing up the next time. I think it's good for our sport to have lady's on board"thumbsup"

Okay,,, then it probably will be the puller 400 for me,,
but I asked Eddie O from team brood what motors he would recomend for me with the superlites axels from dlux and HH BR mini dual esc with the bec inclusive...
And he said that conflux with 0.2o thick can and quad magnets and a HHk ST armature and I wanted 30T...
This was the lightest and most powerfull he had,,
his stubby is out off order and the same for SISU,,The next best thing was his NEXUS...
I guess I have to make up my mind pretty quick,,,I just want to check with some more guys first what they/you think....

okay,,,the ccc mutt!!!
I thought it looked kinda strange with the dobble set`s off holes in the front off the chassis where you mount the shocks...
It is pretty similar to the SUDU chassis...

In this video the gates looks very close together,so it´s most very difficult to drive. And that´s the reason why most people prefer big rocks and not little stones or small indoor locations. But the run from Sofi looks very good to me "thumbsup"

To the amateur eye?

yeah,,, I guess I am a amateur,,,
but you cant deny those are pretty mutch the same....
even with the chassises side by side like this it is hard to see the difference,,
the only thing is that the mutt has some more holes in the front to mount the shocks at...
I have a SUDU myself so I am a little embarassed..... he he he.:oops:

Sofi has been incredibly busy with school after the last comp. I drove couple of batteries and tried to see if it needs anything.

IMG_0227.JPG

I figured out that it'll need a bit extra weight in the front.

IMG_0228.JPG

Old weight setup.

IMG_0229.JPG

New one. One half brass circle more each side. Should be better in steep climbs. "thumbsup" Otherwise the rig is working like it should. 8)

She's ready to kick some more butt! :flipoff:

rfots_2015_3_3rdfp.gif

This comp site is good for Sofi and Smurfette. They finished in the 2nd Fence Puzzle in third place. 8) Let's hope that the lines will be found. "thumbsup"

Personally I'm expecting top five position. ;-)

Sweet looking rig!! The bunker looks like a fun place to run. Enjoy and go kick some butt!!"thumbsup"

Next RFOT's crawl cup race tomorrow! Again some new driving experience with pro class. Weather conditions are pretty interesting here in Finland at the moment. But I don't really see that weather conditions would be a problem with Smurfette! That rig has been working so well. Let's see how it goes tomorrow. Looking forward. On top of all I'm really honored to represent Ottsix from now on. "thumbsup"
