Just got our grandson the new axial rr10 bomber for Christmas, he ran it for about 5 minutes indoors and its control functions became messed up. The steering quit working, and if left idle for a few seconds with the controller on it jumps and goes on its own, I have tried the programming modes but can't get anything different, we have had the axial posion spider for a year with no problems at all, the bomber has a ttx300 controller with some kind of programmable channel 3...could anyone please help with this.
Thanks Trailtec

Same thing here.. I went to see if something was wrong with the reciever & that thing is so cheesy the top half pulled apart from the bottom, I am not very impressed with the quality of the RTR electronics with this thing.

My sons is actually still currently undrivable because of this issue with radio/receiver, and how about that deans plug on the esc, ours is almost shot already.

I called Hobby Town where I bought the bomber and described the problem with the bomber, he quickly said that I didn't have the unit set for a lipo battery and said that it was in the instructions, also said there was a great utube video for this, I have yet to find them, so I will take it to them tomorrow and let them show me I guess. Will let you know how it goes.

First thing unplug and plug the battery back in. If it still does this, read the radio binding instructions and re-bind it. If you still have problems post reply here and we'll try to help more, but it would probably be time to call axial support at that time. Either way post here so others learn from it.

I had a similar problem with a friends Traxxas RTR electronics. Turned out the battery went bad. Bought a new battery and it was all good. I assume you tried other batteries?

Ok, I tried everything every one suggested, tried to re-bind the transmitter & Receiver several times with no luck, so I noticed a red light blinking on the AE-5 so I pulled it all apart, tried to re-bind it again red light still blinks, There are no switches that I can see on the AE-5, so tomorrow I will call Hobby Town in Knoxville Tn and see what they say and also call axial and see what they say, this thing is brand new, never outside , ran about 3 minutes on carpet fine, I will post Hobby Towns response and axials response, thanks for the help.

Yep you are probably right about taking all day off but I hope for the best, I really hope hobby town backs their sales even though it will cost me all day and a 60 mile drive one way.

Axial is really Great at taking care of their customers, take the time to call them. Axial more than likely will send you any new parts they feel is the issue.
I've had a few issues with a wraith and my Yeti kit i called axial after a short conversation parts where in the mail.... your situation sucks but it happens.

Maybe a dumb question but have you unplugged the servo from receiver then see if esc/receiver work?

Thanks to everyone in trying to help solve my bomber issues, nothing worked so this morning I called Axial and described the issue, the tech Rick, said I obviously have a bad receiver and will mail me another ,should take 10 days or so.
Then called hobby town where I bought the unit, they said also bad receiver, bring it in and they will keep it and repair, it is an hours drive so I will repair myself when the part gets here from Axial. Thanks for all of the support and I will keep all informed on this progress.
