What lower link and servo horn is required for this because i cannot get it to work properly since the kunckles end their travel slightly under the plate

I made a custom link with some 1/4" delrin rod, long 3mm set screws and rod ends, http://www.rpphobby.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=rod+ends

The e-flite 3S 800mAh battery in the picture is 1.00" x 2.75" x 0.75" tall. There is room for a battery about 1.25" x 3.00" x ?" (based on body) tall.
