Scale Adventure rules.
Rule #1. HAVE FUN! We are dedicated to fun and healthy competition with a family freindly setting and respecting the land and everyone in the RC scaler/crawler community.
Rule #2. NO HAND OF GOD. (HOG) a driver may not assist, stop, catch, or kick his/her rig. There are no penalties for reverses, winching or using your tow strap so DRIVE SMART! Performing on course repairs or having to touch your vehicle for recovery purposes is not hogging. Picking your truck up out of water, mud, sand or rolling it over onto its wheels with your hand is all examples of hogging your vehicle and resulting in a disqualification penalty. Log the HOG in your drivers log & report it to Base Camp.
Rule #3. A driver can not drive through a gate & reverse back through it to avoid trail obstacles. This will result in a DQ. A course is directional & must be progressed in the intended direction of travel. Reversing through a gate in the intended direction is ok & allowed during mandatory reverse skill sections.
Rule #4. Skill sections may be present on course & will be marked with different colored gates/flags at the entrance and exit. There may or may not be a course gates within a skill section. Skill sections may be bypassed but will incur time penalty against your score.
