It having minor blemishes in a couple spots doesn’t in any way shape or form mean that it’s “isn't suitable for its intended purpose”....... I understand that this is an expensive hobby and that we spend a lot of time and effort in building/creating these toy trucks but in the grand scheme of things 40% off of a plastic shell that is going to get banged up and replaced eventually is a fair deal.
I think some folks should step back, take a breath, and calm down a bit. At the end of the day it’s a toy. And before you go all crazy with the “you don’t know.... blah blah blah” comments I do know because I’ve been building and playing with these toy trucks for 30ish years.

You're right and you're wrong.
Yes, it is only a toy, the rest, you're wrong.
Not everyone bangs them up or wants to weather them.
Not everyone replaces shells every couple of weeks.
My brother-in-law has the same shell his truck came with as an RTR because he just goes out and uses it, he's added some accessories and he's happy with it and has been trucking with it for over 3 years, he's got no intention of changing it unless he absolutely has to, my Dads Yeti still has the stock body, that's also going on about 3 years now, because it does what it needs to do... I personally do change bodies often, but that's personal choice.
You have to remember, not everyone who is in the hobby is in it for the same reasons, some just like to plug in a battery and go for a drive.
Regardless of them being toys, you should still get what you paid for.
For example, if you took your real car/truck/bike to be resprayed and the person spraying it ruined a panel and sprayed over it, you'd be happy with that, because eventually it's going to be covered in stone chips and need doing again anyway eventually right?
