Hola! It seems the DT would be pretty great! The body comes off easily vs that roll cage system on the V2. And there would be less to fix/upgrade being single speed—and it's cheaper. For my next RC (after the Wraith) I want a (faster, FIS) rock racer—not a hell-of-a-lot of speed, but I like that top end to be there when I want it. So, Twin Hammers Guys, what have you found between the DT and V2? Do you wish you had the brushless, 3S capable Yeti? Do you feel sorry for Yeti owners who don't know the exiting, scale adventure they are missing? What are your thoughts? Thanks for reading this short novel.

The DT still has the roll cage. It's just under the body.

Dead weight. That's what I thought. It doesn't weigh much. I think I would leave it in high gear. The DT seems a good fit.

On the Yeti vs Twin Hammers question:

After owning one Yeti and two Twin Hammers, the only time I'd take a Yeti over the TH is if the Yeti came with a large number of expensive upgrades already done, and was the same price as the TH.

My THs have both been much more reliable than the Yeti, and even though my Yeti was the kit version, it still needed at least $200 in upgrades and a lot of work to be as reliable as my RTR Twin Hammers. I only ran my Yeti on 2S.

I only use my TH for crawling now, but I still have one, and the Yeti was traded away for an 1/8 scale buggy. I'm still very happy with that trade, and happy to have my TH for crawling.

I've got a dt roller that will be here tomorrow. Does anybody have a pic with the dt body and stand up front shocks?
