any crawlers in MN?

WHATS WRONG WITH NICKLEPIMPS AVITAR? SHE'S WEARING A TIE ARE THEY AGAINST FORMALWARE?Sorry I get a little excited when some one else picks on Nicklepimp:-P

If I am coming straight back from a comp or GTG, I could pobably give you a ride so your parents wouldn't have to. I will go to whatever ones I can, but can't guarantee I will make them all.

Thanks,
Casey

The snow up here is gone for the most part, there is a little here and there, pretty sad when I had my VMax out runnin the streets just a few days ago and then it snowed.

Dave, you're my hero!"thumbsup"

Nobody would get upset with you Tman. I would be willing to bet that most of our parents were strict with us in one way or another. Your parents actually remind me of mine when I was your age. Over time they have loosened up a bit. We are a good bunch of guys. Like Freetime said, we do razz each other a bit, but the language is generally clean.

Our guest is in town, I just got off the phone with him. Dieselfuel (Scott) is staying at the White Bear Country Inn. 651 429-5393 room 201

Anyone interested in meeting there for breakfast/brunch around 10am Tomorrow?? We'll figure out from there where to go do at least a little bashing.

Post up if you're up for it, and any idea's for a spot.
Lets go Mn crawlers, lets show our out of town quest some MN hospitality, and a good time "thumbsup"

Just curious, any landscape companies anyone can think of? I am not from the cities, so don't know of any. They usually have cool rocks and crap to crawl on. I suppose I better get my stuff charged for tomorrow. I plan on being there.

I can think of a couple, but because of lawsuites and such, most are now closed off with fences, and or signs.

I would say the Mississippi River Park might be our best bet with out alot of looking around. There's plenty for a scaler or even pretty decent for a 2.2.

Calling All Mn RC Enthusiasts

(MNRCRC) Minnesota Radio Controlled Rock Crawlers is looking for new members. MNRCRC is a group of RC crawling enthusiasts who formed in the Spring of 2006 from the forum here at RCC. We held our First series of competitions in the Summer of 2006, and are looking forward to another great season for 2007.
All Mn RC enthusiasts are encourgaged to come check us out. Even if you're into other types of RC? come on out and see what the crawling craze is all about. A fast growing part of the rc truck n car hobby is the rc rock crawler.

Rc rock crawling is not about speed, it is all about finesse.

The goal of a rc rock crawler is to traverse difficult rock formations and scale obstacles that most other rc vehicles could never consider trying.

Rc rock crawling is both a test of driver and machine.

The driver of a rc rock crawler needs to have a high level of concentration, driving ability and sheer will to get his or her rc crawler to the top of the hill.

The machine needs to be able to twist, turn and climb everything put in it's path.

Most times this is done with slow deliberate negotiation of the rocks and then at times just a sheer display of brute force.

We hold most of our competitions at Interstate State Park in Taylors Falls, Mn. You can see pictures from most of our First seasons events @ www.Turtlecrawler.com
MNRCRC is a member club of the (USRCCA) United States Radio Controlled Crawler Association. As such, we run our MN rules very close to the USRCCA rules. We are a fun, family friendly group. Our competitions our for fun With some small prizes donated from sponsers going to the class season champions.
There are no club dues/fees, or entry fees for any of our events, in this way, we keep the competition from getting to serious/cut throat, and the main goal stays fun for all involved.
We currently run 2 classes of trucks.
2.2 class
Super class
New this year, but not an official comp class is the Scalers, which many bring to run after the comp is over.
Rules and Summer 2007 schedule can be found @ www.MNRCROCKCRAWLERS.COM
If you're just starting a build, or even if you're just thinking about it? come on out, and check us out "thumbsup"

Happy crawling!!

Well my 2.2 is done for the most part. I have not really tested it yet. It is completly different. I also got new tires for my super. On the down side my transmission and clutch are out of my car. A pin went through the case of the trans. I guess it is a commen problem with these cars.
