Haven't had a chance to spend a whole lot of time on here lately. Between work, Kids and processing orders for the business time is short but I figured I'd show off the beginning of my next 1:1 build. The 90 YJ has been sold to make room and free up funding for this, plus I just bought my daughter a 96 K1500 SCSB Z71 to learn to Drive on"thumbsup"

My uncle called a while back and asked if I was interested in my Grandpas old farm truck. I remember seeing this truck my whole life but have never seen it move. I hadn't been to the farm in 11 years, a week before my son was born:cry: So I loaded up the trailer and hit the road.

Road trips with the kids is always a blast....Made record time with the cruise set at 85 "thumbsup"

Little info on the Truck. Its a 1973 3/4 ton GMC 4x4. 350/SM465/NP205. Just shy of 70K miles.

Like I said previously, I have never seen this truck move, and I'm a young 35 YO. I had my doubts on if it would fire but some fresh gas and a new battery and she fired right up:shock:

It's in the garage now, I've torn the engine down to a long block to clean off 40 years of gunk THIS TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN WASHED. Its getting all new accessories Water pump, fuel pump, alternator, PS pump, Distributor, Edelbrock Carb Intake Valve Covers and Air Cleaner. New brakes all around. 4" Tough Country Lift. And New exhaust.

This build is gonna be a quick and dirty restomod. Once this engine blows it will get torn down to the frame for a full resto.

Here's some pics

You could never find a '73 anywhere around here that would be that original and solid. "thumbsup"

Was the winch always on the front? Is that an old Warn?

Cool!"thumbsup"
