* All NW Scale Meet, Helena, MT May 18-20 2007 *

HOLY KRAP! I have a LOT of work to do, I am not even ready!! Anyone from Co. that is leaving Thursday morning LMK if you want to meet somewhere along the way to caravan out there. I am planing on leaving Johnstown (just south of Loveland) around 6am. Maybe we could meet at Johnson's corner for breakfast and talk over the plan."thumbsup"

I wish I could meet ya there, but I really don't think I'm going to make it.

My family truck-ster is gonna be packed or I'd throw ya in for the trip! You could hang on the back with a water ski rope and ride yer skateboard.:lol::lol: Might need to bring extra wheels and a couple sets of bearings though.

Where is everyone staying at? which hotels or campgrounds? The moose creek campground up the rimini road about 1/2 mile from the comp IS OPEN now, basic facilities, no showers, I think it is $5-$9 a night for a camp spot, first come first serve.

POST UP WHERE you are staying and when you plan to get there. I want to see if we have enough people for a GTG BBQ at my house thursday night."thumbsup"

Had my last meeting with the BLM and USFS this morning, we are all paid up, approved and legal. Dang those guys are expensive.

I'm plannin on leavin Thursday mornin. I haven't thought about what time yet but 6 am sounds reasonable.
I'm stayin at the Hampton and I guess we should be there by 7 pm. Mapquest said it's an 11 hr drive.

I'm getting ready for the last big push on Guido. The cage will be ready for paint tomorrow and then it's gonna be a slamfest to throw it all together.

awesome, git-r-dun"thumbsup"

there will be a cold beverage waiting for you when you arrive.;-)

Sounds good. 8) I'l be happy to crack one open and relax witcha after this. Mapquest says it's 11 hrs from Longmont, do you think that is about right? I don't usually drive more than 5 mph over the speed limit.

that is pretty close, we went 80 last time I went to the inlaws in castlerock and it took 10.5 hours in the subaru.

in montana, the speed is 75, however, you can go 10 over or less and if you get pulled over it is only $20 and does NOT go on your record, you pay on the spot."thumbsup"

if you set your cruise at 83 or 84, they won't even bother with you."thumbsup"

I may still be going, who knows! I know my scalers not ready though, I'm not sure I can compete against some of the rigs I've seen, I can still have fun though!

you bet, being there will be the best part, competing is just a bonus. besides the raffle is worth it, by itself."thumbsup"

This is a competion:shock: ? I thought it was a bunch of old farts with little toys gettin together.

Not one of my scale rigs could compare to some of the others. I'm just going for the entertainment factor.

Get enough of farts together and there's gonna be a competition. I'd may be beer bongs, driving, or farting but there will be a competition.

Generally you ARE the entertainment factor ED. ;-):-P
It wouldn't be the same without you. "thumbsup"

My wife made the reservations, I can't remember if it is Day's Inn or Best Western.... Who cares, I'll be there around 7'ish. I will need some BBQ and a cool drink as well!"thumbsup"
