A.S.T.R. Presents Copper State Scale Nationals

There will be a meet and greet Thursday night, I'll post details as soon as we secure the location.

There will be a show and shine Friday night at the hotel banquet room.

Awards will be Saturday night either at the campground or hotel banquet room. The room is quite small so we'll have to see if it will work.

We'll have times and more details up soon everyone.
I'm still having a hell of a time just trying to get this freaking thread name changed and it's starting to tick me off.

Just curious, for everyone that is flying. What do you use to transport your rigs in? I'll be needing to purchase some luggage to do this and wanted to get a feel for what others use.

Because I'm cheap... DEWALT 24.57 in. Contractor Chest, Black-DWST33090 - The Home Depot
It is, by no means, a Pelican case. But with wheels removed it held 2 rigs plus some other stuff. I did modify the locking holes so it wouldn't let the latch be opened on "accident". Has no TSA issues with it either.

I've always just put my rigs and batteries in my carry-on. Tires any anything big / durable goes in the checked bag surrounded by clothes or whatever.

Strip them down until 2 fit in the carry on and 1 in the backpack. I will not put anything in checked that I need for the event. If they loose your luggage for a day you are hosed... bad way to start a great event.

Pricing and Itinerary added to first post

We will hopefully start ticket sales this weekend so keep your eyes on this thread or RC ORVA.

Spread the word...Not everyone will think to check a thread that still reads "RC Orva Presents Rocky Mountain Scale Nationals"

Thank you all for sticking with us as we worked through some things. "thumbsup"
