80s inspired JK build needs... inspiration.

I’ve been on a few adventures with this rig now and I absolutely love it! I’m simply amazed at how well it performs and it’s not even dialed in yet...

1)The servo (Power HD 20kg) seems under powered which I find strange... I was told I need a BEC but the HW1080 supposedly has a decent built in BEC?

2)Foams are soft (stock RC4WD just cuz they fit). It needs dual stage badly. I want CI foams but still can’t figure out which ones I need?

3)Suspension will be easier. I know the spring rates and shock oil needs adjusting.

4)Motor/pinion combo is probably wrong. Currently HH trailmaster 27T with 14t pinion and stock 64t spur. I’m not sure if it’s a mental thing, but it screams like it’s struggling lol. On 3s it’s still slow and seems like I’m putting tremendous strain on it?

Either way It’ll be hard to enjoy myself with a lexan bodied rig moving forward...

These last photos look great! Very realistic. You definitely did an excellent job on the jeep.
