Well, here's my entry if the weather holds out and if I can find someone local with a radar gun or gps they want to risk .
It's an RJ Speed pro-stock.
I'll be running an EZRUN 5.5t brushless.
I'm hoping to get either a 2 or 3 cell lipo for it.Just depends on finances.
I still have to decide on a paint job and get that done.
I ordered some new hubs and tires for it also.
It's not much of a build thread so far but I'll try to keep you all posted on any updates.

Let me know how you like that EZ-run BL setup. Im going to end up putting that system in my rc10t3. VERY nice looking car too BTW. Cant wait to see which route you go with paint "thumbsup"

Not to highjack the thread. I had one in my slash with 3 cell lipo and it just flew!!!!!

Well a really small update.Got a couple of things in the mail today.Went the same route as stang killa.Aluminum hubs and 3-1/4" tires.

Also decided that I didn't want to go with the kit body.Ordered a pro-mod body that's a little more fitting to my (lack of?) style.
I'll post a pic of it when it gets here.
I think stang will probably have an idea of what it is.

Bullshit its not much of a build thread. The motor/ESC combo gave me wood. I agree paint that biznatch JEGS color scheme! Good luck dude.

Got the new body today.
Now to figure out a paint job.

Well,a little update.
Got the body cut out and mounted.Just need to do a little finish work on the cuts.
I was going to make a new chassis but,the G10 fiberglass I bought didn't like being waterjetted. It wanted to delaminate the material.
That worked out though. It was designed to widen the track width but, after getting the body mounted it would have been too wide. This is about the widest I can go with the tires I have on it.The rears want to rub the top of the quarter panels if I go any lower so,this is as low as I can get it.
Now I just need to get it painted as soon as I can.I'll have to do it at the shop since the weather won't permit it at my apartment.

sweet!

pics of waterjet destroyed G-10?

paint paint paint!

Paint won't happen until at least Tuesday.I have an eye appointment on Monday.

Here's a pic of the axle plate he tried to cut.Look close and you'll see where it caused it to bubble when it delaminated.
I'll try to get a better pic.The camera didn't want to cooperate this time.

Edit: Here's a little clearer pic."thumbsup"

Well,for what it's worth it's painted.:|
Between the problems with cutting a new chassis and paint issues,I think I've come up with a name for it.
How does "Miss Fortune" sound?
Anyway,I still had a few problems with the second try at the paint due to operator error.:oops:It turned out fair but this wasn't the paint scheme I originally had in mind.Oh well.
I am going to take a couple of the bodies I have around and practice a little to see if I can get the hang of the faskolor paints. After that I'll do a new (same body style) one and take my time and do it right.
On to a few pics.I'll try to get some outdoor when the weather wants to cooperate.
