3D printed parts for the Venture database

Seems like I have misplaced the 4-link mount for the rear axle that came with the RTR kit... Anyone who could make a 3d file for this...? :D

Hmmm.. that looks a bit complex in all of the angles it has and the stock part has enough issues providing enough grab for the threads that I dont think I could make a strong enough version of it.


You might want to grab one while its still available or go back and search for it.
RPP has the rod end set that includes the rear 4 link mount.

Does anyone make an aluminium replacement for that mount? And for the front as well?
 
I didn't bother making a skid I just went with the BowHouse skid. Its gonna be really strong if you get the Nylon version from Shapeways, although it looks like they might all be nylon now regardless of where you get it.
 
I got the one from Shapeways. Only thing I don't like is the gaps for the rod ends are too wide and need shimming.

I swapped the ball ends out for Axial sized ends which its sized for.

I added 2 more prints to the first post.

I just added a wire holder for the electronics tray that can hold bigger 4mm wires, 2 versions for brushed motors though brushless guys can likely use the one called V3 it has a hook on top that I use to keep the wires for my lights out of the driveshaft and you can probably use this for the third motor wire.

Rear shock towers with narrow body mounts made for the Proline Power Wagon body. I've lowered the mount by 1 hole and moved them inwards by about 7mm. You will need to cut up the bed to clear the shocks and shock towers and the stock body mount holes are right near the edge of this cutout so I've moved them inwards to retain more strength.

@Humboldt. Could you design a servo/motor mount that sits the servo 5mm lower? I use spacers to drop the servo down, but it's fiddly getting everything together.

Would this be any better (they're 5mm)? These are what I used with my battery tray and they weren't that difficult to work with.
 
Oh yeah. I use 5 mm long round spacers, It was easier to the servo onto the GPM mount before I installed it.
No problem, just an idea I had today.
 
I could likely add 5mm extra without too much hassle, I just though the flexibility of having the stock height or using the 5mm spacer might be best.

Let me know if you actually want that done and I'd be happy to work it up and put it on Thingiverse.
 
Thanks, but I will carry on as I am. I had the Savox servo burn out on me and as I had the GPM mount there, I put a PowerHD 30kg servo on that.

I just thought of it while doing that.
