Ive been working on this for awhile now and getting close to complete. It utilizes axial rails,gcm t-case,5:1 chinese planetary trans, ssd d60s overdriven front, d90 style skid, and a chinese hardbody. Electronics consist of a hobbywing 1080,cc bec,powerhd 23kg servo,holmes 27t trailmaster and a homemade receiver controlled light switch.

Wish I had higher-resolution photos to look at (and to zoom in on), as that looks fantastic. Honestly, I'm not big on Jeeps (Toyota person, at heart), but, from what I'm about to tell, you did some great detailing.

Just posted a question in the general scale section about this same body and transmission questions before I came here and saw this.

Is the 5:1 planetary to a tcase enough reduction to give a slow crawl? Does that tcase have any reduction?

With the 5:1 planetary im using gcm's 1:1 t-case and overdriven front axle the motor is a holmes 27t trailmaster and find with the hobbywing 1080 set right i get a nice slow crawl and decent wheelspeed when needed running 3s
