I wanna be Dave
i just got my first emaxx:mrgreen:, i want to run the stock evx and titans for now, i want some speed and was thinking lipos, yes, no , maybe?
yes i read somewhere on here that you need a jumper, but i think it was specific to one side , something about one of the sides not supporting more voltage than the other, no completely sure on this:?:... The EVX2 will handle up to 5s with out any issues. The mAh doesn't mean a thing, except run time...
And there is a way to run one 3s pack. You have to make a jumper. Take a connector and loop the wire so it feeds back into its self.
You can run LiPo alarms, or get a Novak cut off.
14.4v max volt according to spec.3s wouldnt work, as you cant hook 11.1v up to one side. and if you split it, it'd still be 11.1v
stick with two 2s batteries. You'll be fine.
And FYI for the jeep guy. 2 fully charged 2s batteries will chime in at 16.8v
14.4v max volt according to spec.2 2 sell lipos are 14.8 volts which is way below the 16.8 limit on the evx's
i am pretty sure i read somewhere in here how it was done with a jumper, i could be mistaken.... The EVX2 will handle up to 5s with out any issues. The mAh doesn't mean a thing, except run time...
