if anyone is in town thursday morning looking for some rocks. head north on Pyramid Highway about 15 miles to Winnemucca Ranch road and take it 15 more minutes out to Moon Rocks. Curt Callaway wanted to hold the event here but logistics didn't work out. the rock is awesome and a lot of it there. if you keep going on Pyramid Highway 15 miles past the Moonrocks turn off is Pyramid Lake. make a left at the intersection, and go up to Pelican Point. the rock at Pyramid is called "Tufa" and it looks like corral out of the ocean. it will cut you if you rub against it. so much traction you will take a reverse when your tire wads up around the wheel.
Curt said it's looking like we can get into the park late afternoon thursday to check out the rocks. we will keep you posted.
Great comp this weekend, I know the weekend isn't over for some yet. Good luck to all you Super and 1.9 Drivers.
IMO the 2.2s and 2.2pro courses were spot on for a national level championship comp. Thanks to everyone who showed up early to set-up courses for us.
I had a blast this weekend. Huge thanks to Curt and his Wife for making Crawl Fest USRCCA Nationals happen this year.
Thank you Curt.
Thank you RCPcrawlers.com for feeding us lunch. It really hit the spot.
Also thanks to all the sponsors for the Donations/Giveaway prizes. The raffle isn't why we all go to these comps, Although I do like free stuff.
Below is what I happened to win
Thanks to Holmes Hobbies.
