Jermaine and his crew at New Bedford Radio Control Club have offered to run the Scale side of the Monster Showdown again this year. Thanks to them we can look forward to an X4 race with 1.55, 1.9, and 2.2 and a U4 course.

Check out the details on the first thread, More to come!

The U4 event will be a rock race, laps over varied terrain. There will be a class for Solid Axle Vehicles, and a class for Independent Front Suspension (IFS) vehicles. We will have more details to follow soon.

Hey Dave, That is awesome that you are going to be able make it up. The first thread has some details on camping and a room block at the Mainstay Hotel (same location as last year).

You could also check HomeAway or AirBNB for a rental house, I think there may be a few still available. I was not able to get our house from last year due to "complications"

Today's sponsorship announcement is brought to you by RCP Crawlers.

Yes, The moment I posted the details it was locked down. I wouldn't lead you guys down the wrong path.

I will open the website for purchasing tickets soon, I am only waiting so I don't have to pay as much in hosting fees, Id rather put money into the event than in the pockets of the website host.

I found the rules for the X4 racing event. Thanks. Does 1.5 and 1.9 mean the wheel sizes? I would think so, right? What type of rigs run in the 1.5 and 1.9 classes. I finished my mini and want to get to work on these. If I am spending all this money, might as well race as much as I can.
