2016 Michigan Scale Pints Series

This season will be ran different tan last here are some updates as to what's new these changes are for the good we feel.

This year we will run by SORCCA rules but will cap at 25 max scale points in all classes. Your welcome to have as many as you would like but only 25 will count.

Also in an effort to speed things up courses will be 10 gates with a 10 min time limit and a 100pt penalty knock out.

Another change is to the points is we will base the field off of a 40car field 1st gets 40pts second 39 ect all the way to 40 that would get 1pt and any position after 40

Another big change is ever other event is a trail ride that you get 25 points just for showing up and running the trail. This is to try to bring everyone together on a less serious note

Classes will be:
Class1
Class2
Class3
Box stock cc01 class

At each comp there will be a small g6 set up so there won't be as much down time waiting hope y'all are excited for the new season

So I'm not familiar with the SORRCA rules. I glanced them over. Would a Wraith with a DMG bobbed rear end be Class 3? And a G6 with a TSS frame be Class 2?

Wraith is class 3 for sure.

The G6 with TSS should fit Class 2. Only issues might be tire size. 4.75" overall diameter or less.

I have been working on a scx10 over the winter. Are these events just open or how does that all work? I am in Port Huron. Haven't even got to really run my truck yet. I would love to get with some of you guys that have been running for a trail ride or just a get together sometime.
